I was out just taking care of personal task when I saw a single Bald Eagle in a public open space park. Then on a neighboring dead tree there was a solid white figure. Once winter comes through Colorado will be visited by at least a couple Snowy Owls. I got my hopes up thinking this was the case. I ran home got the camera and came back but that white figure was gone. Let down and walking back to my car. A Red-tail Hawk flies past me and lands in a small tree right off the trail. So I slowly walked closer and closer to see if I can get a picture since I did have my camera. He was so uninterested in my that I was able to stand on trail right next to him. I fading sunset light shining right on him. It was perfect conditions.
